Hope everyone's having a good Thursday. Things have been wild and I haven't been to my own house since November, which isn't unusual, except this trip was and continues to be unplanned.

My Jeep's in the shop - I miss it more than I thought I would. Tomorrow I hope to behind its wheel again.

After Dad died in October, my mom got sick and I've been taking care of her. Buried my uncle today. Brother-in-law's leg is still fucked, got bombed at work (literally) and I pissed on the seat today, but otherwise, things are looking great.

I have a huge Irish Catholic family, and we had an OUTSTANDING wake last night. Some foggy heads at the mass today, but not disrespectfully so. We've had a lot of practice lately. I realize, being in Portland there last few months, how much of a Portlander I am and how much I miss it.

I think my priorities are changing. I care less about my career and want to be closer to my friends and family I've had all along. It seems that no matter what I find out there doing my adventures, the best part is always coming back. My cousins Dan and Gabe, especially, have reminded me of that this week...
