I have decided the art-world is too bourgeois so I'm not going to be doing Art History for my second major. Instead, I shall be doing either Japanese or Chinese (more specifically, the Mandarin dialect). The reason for this being that I have an immense facination with East-Asian culture and would therefore benefit from knowing one of the languages, especially since I plan to work there one day. On the one hand, Mandarin would be an excellent choice because roughly 1/4 of the world's population speaks it. Also, there are many exciting things happening in the arrid areas of China in terms of archaeology. On the other hand, I freaking love Japan in every respect (girls, art, culture, technology, theology, history, the girls, anime, customs....did I mention girls??..). Hmm...it's going to be a tough choice.
On a side note, I enjoy the holiday season, but, goddammit, I hate being poor.
I suppose thus is the life a college student.
I'm going to be a nerd now (proudly so!), and go read more Dragonlance. yippee!!
love and poverty,
Teh Witchbaby
