It has been quite a week! I played Christmas Carols on the pipes for a winter concert at one of my schools, and then dressed up as Santa Claus for the last song. That was a hoot! Saturday I played for the University of Vermonts mid-year graduationalways fun. I will post a video if they put up a good one of our band playing into the ceremony.
One a more somber note, Ive been having a very rough time dealing with severe depression. The demons are back and seem to be pissed off at me for trying to squash them forever through the years of therapy. I wont go into the details because Ive talked about them here before and I dont want to belabor the point and be so negative. I do want to publically thank three people here who have put up with me and my craziness. Cadavre, Jaclyn, and Fuschia Shock. They are the sweetest and most wonderful ladies on the planet. If it werent for them I would be just a name in the obits by now. Enough said.
I do not have any art to post yetI have a portrait for Juturna that I am working on right now and a few others that I will finish asap. I cant wait for Christmas vacation for many reasons, most of all to get some drawing DONE!!!
I will post this pic of Fuschia Shocks wreath that came yesterdayit is beautiful! Its on my studio easel, but will go to school tomorrow with the other one she sent so I can decorate my art roomand inspire the kids creativity in the process. She is a sweet lady and a wonderful friend.
