I havent been here muchas you can probably tell, mainly because of schooltraveling to three schools is a chore. I put on at least 300 miles each week and it may even be more in a few weeks when I hope to add another school. I get home at night and fall asleep by 8:30it pisses me off because I miss good stuff on TV and I dont get much drawing done either. I guess I need to take a nap when the kids leave at 2:30!
So here are three pieces: a portrait for a sweet friend, a small landscape of a spot on Deer Isle in Maine, and a painting of cows I just finished for a friend. I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I suck at taking pictures and I probably rushed too much, but it will give you an idea anyway. I wont be doing many portraits for awhile. I recently started a project with Jaclyn hereactually many projects, one of which is a large painting of Cleopatra which I NEED to start soon! Also, Rewski and I are working on a series of collaborations her photographs and my paintings, all based on themes like the female nude near a waterfall, or Victorian Vampiresits the kind of thing Ive been looking for to rejuvenate my creative spirit. Ive had trouble getting inspired lately and these projectsall of which will take a lot of timefeel like they will do just that spark my artistic fever (sounds cheesy, but its true).
