I took the time to do the following drawings of Merlowe. I decided to put aside the schoolwork for a day and do something FUN!!! The drawing is in pencil (my usual), but the color sketches are just thatrough color sketches that I will do as watercolors at some point. I love the looser style and couldnt resist doing a few today. I have two large drawings of Mya I am working on; several pencil portraits and a couple of acrylic paintingsone of Cadavre thats VERY abstract! I should have a chance to work on all of them Friday as I HAVE THE DAY OFF!!!!! YAY!!! Im going to try and get all my portfolio work done by then so I can relax a little. Yesterday I received four tickets to my graduation ceremony May 14th, less than 2 months away now! I have to order a hood and get a new tassel. I think I still have my mortar boardmy gown has been hanging on my closet door for 6 years!!! I know its going to be an emotional day which is one reason why I am very glad Ill be playing at graduationpiping my class in! Heres a pic from one grad ceremony a few years ago.





If Im playing tunes maybe I can hold it togetherI just wish my parents couldve lived long enough to see their kid get this far, considering my dad never graduated high school (little thing called WW II!!!).
