I'm sorry for not writing, but with the start of school In-service meetings, getting two art rooms ready, and all that jazz, it's been a tough two weeks...and I still have two days of meetings to go before the kids show up! I'd rather have the kids around than be stuck hearing the (well intended, but hideously boring) superintendents speak...oh well, that part is almost over and I can soon start actually TEACHING art!
On a different note, I did enter a solo bagpipe competition (one I used to run myself) this weekend and despite a flat chanter reed, won a third place in the 2/4 march. I even got a yellow ribbon for the effort.
Well, gotta go work on plans and get stuff ready for tomorrow...if anyone IS listening, reading, caring, whatever...I am still here and hope to post more drawings of Allegro soon. Thanks, Blog, for being here.
