I just wanted to say toodles for awhile. I will be attending an arts assessment seminar this week put on by the state's department of education. I hope to finish another drawing for Allegro (there, I think I FINALLY spelled her name right!) before I go, but I may only get part of it completed. I had a good start on it, but decided I made her face look way too cross and her eyes weren't good at all...she looked cross-eyed! Anyway, that's what you get when you rush so I'm gonna take my sweet-ass time and do a good job - I want it done right! Otherwise, she'll think I'm a hack and I won't think much of it either!
We went up to the Maxville/Glengarry Games in Canada yesterday...great time! We heard some excellent pipebands...Grade 1's, 2's, and 3's...and even saw some old friends. It was nice to be a spectator for a change and not have to perform or compete. The massed bands got my blood up though and I wanted to join in and play with the nearest band on the field.
Well, gotta go...I have so much work to do for this blasted seminar...all of which I COULD'VE done earlier, but was too lazy! Plus, I need to work on Allegro's drawing.
