Hi Blog,
A busy weekend, too much to do and not enough time to draw. I should be doing that now, but I felt I had to write something.
I have poetry to post, but need to dig it up out of my numerous journals. I seem to start a journal, write on a few pages, then go on to a whole new one...I wonder why?
Yesterday I pondered why I like this site so much, why I keep coming back to it. There seem to be many reasons. Obviously some of the women here are very sweet with their comments and I love drawing their portraits, but I wondered if there wasn't another reason. Maybe something is missing from my life and I think I can find it here? Something to consider.
I worked on Lovely's drawing yesterday...she IS lovely. I hope to get her's finished today, but alas I have to run off for a two-hour meeting ARGH!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to get back to school tomorrow. The first graders will be painting their fish sculptures and the second grade will start their Egyptian Wall Paintings. The only dark point is a staff meeting that will drag on and on and on and on and on and on...........no wonder some people leave teaching. Just let me work with my kids and leave me be!
I miss my parents, especially dad. He's been gone for over 13 years, but it seems like yesterday I got the call. Yikes, I have to get out of this funk or I'll go crazy. It's hard, loss.
Now I don't know what to say...maybe a list poem...
