Wal-Mart should adopt a coat+tie policy before customers are allowed in!
This reminds me once of my junior high principal who tried to persuade us students to dress better. (I think it had something to do with the fad of baggy pants.) He mentioned an example about Wal-Mart, and how the expression and greeting from the designated "Wal-Mart greeter" changed depending on whether he was in casual clothes or his suit and tie. Somehow this rousing speech was supposed to empower us. It just made us roll our eyes 'til we got dizzy.
