*Drive a car
*Speak Spanish
*Hop freight trains
*Spin fire
*Write grants

Educational Workers IU 630! Except I'm not employed right now, that's from way back in the day when I worked at an on-campus library. Still, most of my jobs have been from some or other college campus.

Are you at a job shop or GMB?

Yeah, I haven't even paid my dues since July of 2001! oops.

writing is a form of personal freedom, it frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. in the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals.

How personal do you feel comfortable getting in your SG journal - or on the Internet in general? Why do you feel the way you do?

angel222:
the internet is full of people i'd never want to know my personal shit. i usually keep sensitive info and stuff to myself, even in real life -- but i occassionally open up. a faceless entity on the other side of a monitor doesn't get that privilege from me.
edie:
i definitely do not want to get that personal in my SG journal. especially b/c i can't make it friends only, which i think is why my entries come off sounds so bubbleheaded sometimes. on livejounal it's a different story because i control who reads what, so i don't mind sharing a little more.

why can't anarchists draw straight lines?

because they don't have any rulers.

I regret to inform you that it is the policy of hugoroark to add someone to their 'friends list' after that person has submitted 3 entries in hugoroarks journal....my records indicate that you have fulfilled this requirement and have been added as such. This friendship is irrevocable and continues through the life of the membership unless provided with a written excuse to be removed signed by a Notary and a licensed psychologist....congratulations.

It never ceases to amuse me that the ice cream truck in my neighborhood plays Union Maid. biggrin

There once was a union maid
She never was afraid
Of goons and ginks and company finks
And the deputy sheriffs who made the raid
She went to the union hall
When a meeting it was called
And when the company boys came round
She always stood...

I hate the fact that it takes lots of money to look properly "punk" these days. It seems kinda beside the point.

How can it cost more to look punk these days than it ever did? Did looking punk get a lot more complicated? Or did the price of second hand clothes, surplus gear, and dumpster diving go way up?
wisp:
! No doubt.
