In my last post I forgot to mention that I watched Donnie Darko. I love that movie. I love that movie so much my solar plexis does that weird thing solar plexises do whenever I think about it. The Butterfly Effect was similar in regards to time travel and sacrfice so those you love won't suffer. But unlike The Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko was left to much interepretation. For instance, why did the therapist want Donnie to call her back so badly? Towards the end of the movie when the camera is panning over all the affected characters of the plot, why where there skectches of the rabbit mask in the "real" Frank's room? My husband says that he was just creating his Halloween costume but I'm not sure it is that simple. Also, if Donnie dies the new universe, does that mean Jim Cunniham gets away with being a pedaphile?
Not only was the acting, writing, and cinematography wonderfully done, but how about that soundtrack?
