I remember a Thanksgiving probably 15 years ago where my family sat around the table discussing the possibility of spontaneous human combustion.

I love my family.

My familie's not usually like this but this past Thanksgiving we got to talking about farts. Wierd.

Yeah, so I'm finally back!

I don't know what the deal was, but my password stopped working, and I had to reset it... but I never got the password reset email telling me what my new password was. Then it took like 2 weeks for staff to get back to me. tongue

It was kind of weird to get a voicemail from Sash though...

I was wondering what happened to you.
WELCOME BACK!!

PS - How's the job?!?

So... I am starting a new job on Monday!

Unfortunately the first one didn't work out the way I had hoped. I have been working at a hospital in the midcities... about 27 miles from home. The distance would have been completely worth it if I was learning and experiencing what I was hoping. On the up side, I was experiencing doing therapy and evaluations...

Wow ... now I understand what you were saying about the other job. You'd think they would have given you a lot more support in a position like that. That must've been stressful and frustrating as all hell.

That said, the new job sounds awesomely perfect and I love your office! I'm sure you'll do very well and really make a tremendous impact on your clients.

PS - I also love the New Year's pics! You look like you might be a little bit tipsy in that first one. wink

We installed new toilets today! They're dual push-button flush. 1 button for "number 1" and 1 button for "number 2!"

Can life get any more exciting?!?

I got a second interview at a long term care facility in Highland Park.

Now, do I really want to work in a LTC facility? I suppose if I was going to, Highland Park would be the place to do it...
crispy:
That is awesome!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

smile

There's no harm in going to the second interview and seeing what comes of it. No reason to get yourself all worked up until you know for sure that it's something to get worked up about.

Let them make their decision before you make yours.

GOOD LUCK, WINKSTER!

Oh, and I want to hear all about this when you get the chance.
If you want to share, that is.

Okay, here is the first batch of pictures and such as requested...

So what we did today was pick up our new BMW from the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, SC.

So we got to the performance center bright and early in the morning for a performance driving class. There were about 10 or so of us taking the class (7 new car owners and...

This is a slightly late comment (see, you're not the only one who comments late - thanks for the comment on my page, by the way).

There you were, just minutes and miles away from me at some point - ah well, at least you got to experience some of the good aspects of life in the Carolinas (hopefully that included filling up with gas - the other week I was in Spartanburg, S.C. and while regular gas was anywhere from $3.25 to $3.50 everywhere else it was $2.96 there). North and South Carolina are certainly pretty - hope you got to see a little of them before you went back home. Your new car looks great - once upon a time I had a few BMW's myself, but none for a little while so it's good to see how really beautiful they are these days (nice color, too). Congrats and use it well.

Also congrats on your grades, which must seem like a year ago by now (I DID say I was sorry for being so late). Looks, brains AND a hot car - you are so much a guy's dream!

I'm in South Carolina tonight... Greenville, SC to be specific. never been here before.

It was pretty striking when we got here how CLEAN the air smelled. I hadn't realized how used to Dallas's nastiness I'd become.

Tomorrow, we're picking up the new car, taking a performance driving class for half a day, and then driving up to North Carolina to do some scenic drives...
