good morning. today is january sixteenth [i actually had to check my dashboard for that] and it is SUNNY!

i am drinking a cup of costa rica coffee from my work and listening to grandaddy as the sun streams through my kitchen window.



my new house is lovely. i like spending time here, i get to spend a lot of time by myself which is really nice. soon i will go on a walk to elysian, my morning routine on my days off when i have a few dollars in my pocket. i like to spend time in the morning, sitting, writing, reading, trying to do the crossword, planning my day, people watching. it's nice.

in the time frame in which i haven't written i had my friend daniel shave part of my hair:

soon i will be traveling to portland and seattle. i haven't been there in awhile... since last may i guess and i miss it. my sister might be coming with me for part of the trip which is nice. at least i won't be here for part of the olympics. i can spend time alone in my favorite city drinking coffee and browsing powells and searching through every possible zine at reading frenzy. i am excited. i need this, this getaway. it will be good for me.

also i am thinking about taking an intro to experimental sound class at VIVO. we'll see if i have enough money for both.

anyway, time to finish my coffee. throw in a load of laundry and get ready for my day.
