TA DA!
Just when you thought I was lost I have reappeared! Okay, so maybe it was not that exciting. Anyhow, my newly adopted state of North Carolina is fantastic! They are getting ready to open our pool next week which causes me to look back on my days in the frosty midwest and laugh! (apologizes for those of you still buried up to your elbows in snow)
My silly pursuit of knowledge has been keeping me quite busy. Graduate school is some demanding shit! I have two weeks to read 2 novels, view a movie, a lengthy presentation, read 3 chapters in a textbook, post discussions on a board with my classmates, answer some of them and then write a well thought out (HA!) 5-7 page paper in the correct format. Any wonder I fail to update my journal frequently? But the new found knowledge will be worth it. Right?
I have become entranced by satelite radio. I once thought why the hell would anyone pay for that but now it is all I can do to keep from going to the compnay and emptying my wallet in their laps. No annoying DJs (no offense if you are an annoying DJ), good music, even the stuff that was on cassettes you wish you would not have sold back in the day. No commercials. Do you feel like punk? They got it. A little new wave Oh yeah it is there! Fancy a bit of intellectual conversation...tune into the public radio it is waiting. Perhaps i am too enamored but I am enjoying myself. I have even contemplated using the seats in my car that fold into a bed so that i can stay out there and listen into the wee hours. Curse graduate school, it is taking up my valuable satellite radio time. And might I just add that it is a great cure for the common road rage!
Well that is all for now....enjoy spring and long live my satellite radio
