So yea, this is what I look at for 8-12 hours a day. I tend to be a bit of a workaholic, but I really love my job so fuck it. I actually work with about 25 separate pieces of software, this is just a sampling (smudged and redacted where necessary as I am a credit card fraud investigator for the largest banks in the United States, and there is some proprietary and "classified" if you will, information I obviously can not just share)
It is a fascinating job to say the least. I have contacts with the FBI, Interpol, and police depts all over the world. Everyday is a new challenge. My personal largest bust so far has been a crime ring that originated in Russia that was committing the fraud mostly via the internet for a grand total of around $750,000. That's a whole goddamned lot of dollars.
And I did it all from this desk. Well, myself and my two teammates (And Archer back there in the background. Cases that large are not handled by any one person. Took about 5 months of digging and piecing shit together but the arrest was made successfully.
So that's what I do. And I love every second. It's like being a police detective without the potential for being shot at. I'm also a 7 year US Army combat veteran... I've been shot at enough for one lifetime.
