man, it's been a weird week.
*WARNING: GEEK ALERT* *CONTINUE READING AT YOUR OWN PERIL!*
so, i have pre-ordered D&D online and played the beta for 10 days. the pre-order allows me ( and 10's of thousdand others ) to play the game a few days before it goes retail. in honor of this geektastic event i've taken the first week of march off so i can play. pathetic, i know, but i have 4 weeks of vacation time and i couldn't really think of anything else to do with it.
*NOW BACK TO OUR IRREGULARLY SCHEDULED UPDATE*
work has been killing me. the level of ineptitude the management exhibits is staggering.
my crazy aunt gave my brother and i some money from an insurance policy of my deceased ( 4 years ago ) grandmother that nobody knew existed until late last year. that was a pleasant surprise. it was what would have been our mothers share. i think my mothers side of the family feels sorry for us as he and i were left with nothing from our parents after they died. my mothers medical bills and my dads second wife saw to that.
ah well, history repeats itself as my father was left with nothing when his died and he actually had to buy back the family farm from the great state of michigan. so i guess i'm getting off light.
i bought a 3 dvd set of clint eastwood westerns. his more modern ones, the outlaw jose wales (ok, it's from the 70's )
and his two from the 90' pale rider and unforgiven.

-laughs- eh who knew?
i figure those in charge will always have security as a reinforcement for sometimes questionable decisionmaking/logic skills.
