hmm i think i figured out the tax racket....
back in december i took out some money to pay off my house. i waived the 10% state tax fee and just payed the 20% federal on the funds. now that i have my taxes done i see where i saved a few hundred dollars. instead of paying $400 into the state and getting less that half of that back i only have to pay in $66 to the state while i still get money back from the feds. see how it works?
