So I just saw this article about Feline asthma, it really opened my eyes.
My poor cat Buff has been hacking/coughing now for about a year. My vet told me that it was just hairballs and that I should give him this petroleum-based stuff that is supposed to break up the hair. When I realized that wasn't working I started to try and change his diet to hairball remedy food and giving him pet grass to also help aid in the breaking up of this so called "hairball"
After watching just one poor kitten go through an asthma attack I realized that this is what my poor lil guy has. I continued to do some research and watched more videos to make sure that my thoughts were correct.
Now the problem is do I take him back to the same vet who told me "it's just a hairball" or do I venture onward in search of a new vet who will actually try to listen to my cats lungs??
Actually not a tough choice at all.
Feline asthma is for real!!
