God Damnit I finally got offered a job! it's a shitty job (okay, it's not THAT shitty, the pay's pretty okay actually) at FedEx/Kinko's here in town, but it's 40 a week with benefits . . . sweet benefits! I'll finally be able to get a doctor to figure out what the green spot on my ass is!
I'll be selling Kinko's to local small and mid-sized businesses--kinda letting them know what we can do for them. The bad news is I'm still in sales to nothing incredibly wild as far as hair and ink goes, but I think I'll also be able to afford to get my nipples pierced. Mmmm, nipples. A day won't go by when I won't be wearing a second-skin wifebeater after that!
Wifebeater . . . what a great reputation for a piece of clothing.
Yesterday was a nice day too. I got to ride a horse. One would think that, what with this being Iowa and all, I'd ride a horse all the time. Well, sure, I hitch up the buggy every time I want to go anywhere since we don't have enough paved roads for cars to drive on, but just riding one? That's kinda rare. I don't think I've ridden a horse daily since high school. So spending the afternoon on a horse was kinda nice.
You figure with three of them I'd get to all the time, right? Well usually Dad has two of them to pull in his tools to work, and Mom has the other one to go to work too, so having a horse home during a weekday is rare. But with Ma home yesterday, I got to just go ride one! Nice!
Horseback riding kicks ass. I wonder if driving is as cool?
