So I have a pretty fun day ahead of me.
First, I'm going to go to the Getty Museum and check out some awesome art pieces with my guitarist. He has to do a homework assignment, so I'm tagging along so we can have ourselves some good ol' fun while we're there. For example, what is really nice to enjoy with a good piece of art? Wine and cheese. But we don't really want cheese, so we're going to drink wine instead. We picked out a nice chardonney and an awesome pinot grigio that we're going to enjoy when we get there. Then it's off to look at art, and back to the car. Then we're going to go to...
GUITAR CENTER!!! Oh yeah. They're having a sale this weekend and you can walk in and get a free pair of drum sticks or acoustic/electric guitar strings. Just for walking in! Shit. That's a deal. I'm going to go in and play the "I'm a bass player with no money and I NEED bass strings, just one set. Please!" And hopefully the guy will feel bad and gimme' some. If not, I'll just be like "alright, whatever. I saw a sign for 10% off? I'll just buy a set." Before I get any jazz, if you're a real musician, you'd know that Guitar Center is a joke to begin with. They're not allowed to bargain prices anymore so that's completely lame to begin with. And they also overprice to HELL. It's horrible. Well, not COMPLETELY because they do have some nice deals on Gibsons and Fenders (only Fender's basses, let's not get carried away here). But yeah, they're still assholes at times. They think everyone who goes in there isn't going to buy anything so they ignore you. Asslike if you assk me (you see what I did there? lulz).
ANYWAY, after that we're going to drink some more, do some drugs (specifically weed for me), and then go to sleep for school tomorrow after I finish my psychology homework. Then I'll be resting. Anyone want to come over and sleep next to me tonight? It'll be way better that way, and I'll be much more comfortable. And so will you.
