Yo! What's good, guys? So I'm in school in the library waiting for the psychology club meeting that's going to get underway in a little bit. I'm just killing a bunch of time on the internet until the meeting starts. Basically, class ended for me around 10 and now I'm waiting for it the meeting at 12. It's not a bad deal considering I'm on my laptop and listening to my music, so it's not all that bad. Plus, I've still got some brandy and Rockstar from this morning so at least I'm not anxious.
At the moment, I'm listening to Velvet Revolver. As much as I dislike Scott Weiland for fucking up the band, I'm in love with his voice in this band. Dirty Little Thing is playing right now, and it's just an all around amazing song. Plus, it has one of the few solos on this CD by Slash that's entertaining and melodic to listen to (compared to the other songs that don't have solos at all, or have some short solo that's not worth my time to listen to).
Today, we studied about neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, etc.) and I rocked that shit because I know the concept behind all those chemicals very well (yay drugs!). We also studied the concept behind neural signals sent from one neuron to another, and the steps in between. It's not a hard concept to understand because it's just so fluid to me, but everyone seems confused. It's really upsetting because I thought this concept came easy to everyone. But when I tell people the steps and such, it gives me so much delight to see them understand the concept. It's great to say the least.
I feel like a nerd getting all happy over psychology. But it's my one true love and I cant stop studying it. If anyone has any psychological studies that they want to forward to me, I'd LOVE to read them.
Alright, I'm going to go entertain myself for another half hour or so before I have to leave.
Ciao.
Here's a picture for good measure. Yeah, I look SO enthusiastic. lulz
