Well last Thursday I was invited to a private screening of The Runaways film. It was kind of weird seeing it in a fairly empty theater with just movie critics. Saturday was a busy Short North Gallery Hop with the better weather. Monday I saw The xx at the Wexner and really enjoyed that show. The opener jj ended up being a disappointed since it was like they almost were just "phoning in" there set. But Nosai Thing who was added at the last minute was good. Then Tuesday I got to see the Dum Dum Girls open for the Girls at the Wexner. I really enjoyed their set and the Girls surprised me and, put on a better live act then their albums. The Dum Dum Girls were basically dressed up like in their video Jail La La that you can find on Pitchfork TV. The only difference was the drummer seemed to be going for a witch look complete with hat at the show.
