In news outside the Short North, Elizabeth Lessner has announced on her Myspace site that she is opening a new place at 72 East Gay St. It will be called Tip Top Kitchen and Cocktails and it is scheduled for a late February 2007 opening. It is a partnership with her brother Tim Lessner and Chuck Hootman. It will focus on comfort style food with old school decor, and will offer discounts to bikers, scooters or people taking the bus to the location. Cocktail emphasis will be on bourbon and Manhattans.
