I'm fat 'cus I eat bad and don't work out. I'm hazy in the head because I lack focus and discipline. I have no idea when I'll get these things done. But one thing I do do is volunteer at the humane society. This is good for your soul.
Truly devoted journal readers may remember I normally spend most of my time in the feline hospital. But today I took this tiny dirty 'bengie' looking dog for a walk who was no bigger than a large cat. She had just give birth so she had 8 gigantic breasts that would swish back and forth. To see her play and root for a few moments away from her pups was priceless. Time suddenly seemed more valuable by how temporary it is, sharing this time with her at such an important time in her life.
Later I saw some goats caged up in the 'other' animal section. So with out telling any body I snuck in to their cage. They were quite large and I was concerned weather they would attack me. They were beautiful! Looking into their deep rounded rectangle pupils and their 'x' shaped lips, I was truly in awa. I spent some time cautiously introducing my self, they too regarded me with caution. But soon I was earning goat kisses on the face. Later I found out they had been rescued from a nightmare farm abuse/neglect situation. This probably could have been deduced by their ear tags, metal clips and clipped horns. Animal rights IS the struggle for liberty and justice. Experiences like these galvanize my will like nothing else.
