hey hey.
sooooooo all of the other SG austinites simply must break out and come out and meet us all at our next SG austin event. it's super neat being able to be around a bunch of people you know that you probably can't freak out, bother, offend etc. simply because of the nature of SGs! It was a lot of fun getting to know everyone last night.
I was particularly shy when it came to striking up convos with the girls...it's always the way of it. haha. hmm..soooo...maeby and katy hey hey chickies, how are you? i'll be less shy next time.
overall you guys were/are a great crowd. we should aim for bluevalentine's bday at zilker on october 22nd and then perhaps spiderhouse the next time. im also always up for board games...lol
should be good fun.
as a side note - ryan and i were walking home to the bus and even though i was initially quite tired, we happened to hear and spot an incredible artist doing a solo acustic performance. his name is justin ross and WOW wow WOW - he performed a lot of new things that he doesn't have on his current CD that just blew my understanding of guitarists out of the water. He does have a whole band but it was just him last night and he built and built up these incredible songs with three different guitars, singing into the guitars when they had a synthezizer in them as well as using a lot of neat subtle technology to compose incredible tunes. i recommend people go find him on myspace...

I'm shy all the time, but the insane background noise made it hard to talk to anyone. Maybe if we find some place quieter to meet up next time I'll be a little more at ease.
