hello hello!
oooooooooo look at you and your bad self. *does the llama dance* have any/all of you seen 'The Emperor's New Groove'? I freakin love that movie as though it was the only fashion boutique with original designs in town.

So rock climbing has been kicking ass. Have you tried it? (ooo look at all these questions...) - this is my first beginners class, and its just ...GREAT
we're going on our first all day outing this saturday.
It'll be in nature and everything. Nature is really something special, isn't she:
hmm...lets see...
OK so I've talked to quite a few of you about 'What the Bleep Do We Know?!' - a movie that synthesizes quantum physics and spirituality. I've loved the responses on it so far..and I think it can really change a lot of people's lives - not to sound too cheeeeeeeeeeesy or whatever. to hell with sounding cheesy! *cheese*
<--cheesy looking smile.
*grins*
So tell me your thoughts on the movie - how its changed you, make you think more deeply, changed your relationships and how you see the world. Then again, if it didn't do any of these things, then say that - because that's really interesting too.
I want you to all see your responses together too - I may even start up a 'What the Bleep do we know' group in Austin. We'll see what time permits!!
One very very cool part of the movie is where it discusses the different crystallization patterns water makes when a Buddhist monk prays over the water thinking different things. The following image displays the difference:
As the movie says: Now one must ask if prayer/focusing of such thoughts can do that to water...& We're made up of 90% water...what can thoughts do to us?
Pretty trippy I say. AND and AND may I just add that I am not one of those bogus shitheads that believes everything she comes across. Promise. I felt like this movie resonated with my version of truth, hence the discussion.
I had a period in my life where I wouldn't read spiritual books because they were too influential on me. I just dont like the idea of someone else telling me how to love God...
oo! I said 'God' in a positive way! ha!
suppose that might be a first on here...shame how organized religion has smooshed people's understanding of the church, islam, etc. The meditation class I've been going to has a kick ass teacher who's accepting of all religions and faiths - like me.
What are your thoughts on the subject?
Ok...well this entry has enough enough questions in it to sustain your interest mespinks,
and to have you replying with all that your little heart desires. speak up! I love listening.
That should be my new screen name: 'Ilovelistening' because I do. One of the most pleasurable things I can possibly think of doing.
hope you're having a lovely day,
love.
