How's things?

if you ever get around to lotr, read the silmarillion first, and maybe the hobbit. lotr takes place in the 3rd age of tolkiens universe, and the silmarillion takes place in the first and second. it tells how the world was created, about the gods, and how elves, men and dwarves were created, but the bulk of the story is about the elves war against melkor, one of the gods. if you read it before lotr youll have a sence of how important a lot of the characters are, like elrond, galadriel, aragorn and sauron. plus its the best book iv ever read.

as for the wheel of time, i dont really know much about it. other then that its huge and most of the books are supposed to be really good.
