hello hello. went to see Mike Doughty the other night at Lupos. It was a stellar show, as always. The opening bands blew, but Doughty brought the house down. The band is tight. Pete is such an exceptional drummer. The next album should be funky as hell with that rhythm section. The highlight of the evening is when Mike performed
several song solo-accoustic, in a go-go cage! it was right next to where we were sitting. captured some good pics in the doughty folder. this one is my favorite.

today i went to the magical beer store, and there was free beer tasting. I was in the store for about an hour and a half. Tried some interesting beers, and also some swill. but it was a free sample, so who am i to complain?
in other randomness, lately i have been obsessed with the Clash. Mainly their reggae songs. Its because i found online the bootleg "From London To Jamaica." Search it out if you can. The quality is perfect, and the performance is awesome.
