Remember when I said I found out some great news the other day?! I've been given the opportunity to be a STAPAW model for the Vans Warped Tour in Mansfield, MA on 7/13!! 😁 STAPAW is a non-profit organization that focuses on tattoo and piercing acceptance at work. I am so excited and humbled to work with a company with such a strong message. Tattoos and piercings have nothing to do with someone's work ethic and/or abilities, and therefore no one should be discriminated against just because he/she has them. Personally, I work as veterinary technician for a hospital that strongly discourages visible tattoos. 😒 However, I am "allowed" to keep my art uncovered when I am working as a surgical technician, because I don't work directly with the clients during these shifts.
