Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a great movie, even if Willy was a little mean spirited. I loved the use of Dahl's original lyrics to the songs, which were just great anyway, Danny Elfman's amazingly talented. The stuff with Christopher Lee was brilliant, even if it wasn't from the book at all and somewhat left field. Deffinitely a better film than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which I still adore greatly. Oh, and Deep Roy's my new hero.
I don't completely understand Josh, I wish I did, I really like him and I want to be his friend, not just because of his closeness to Elizabeth, but also because he's such a cool guy, but sometimes, I dunno, it's just wierd.
Nugget has finally been groomed! He's so tiny, we need to start feeding him more fattening food or something. I think his tail it too heavy for the rest of him tho.
I can't wait for Jake and Tash's wedding! I love them both so much and I'm so incredibly happy for them, even if they were talking dirty to eachother when I called Jake yesterday. It's gonna be so great to see them and everyone else, I miss them all so much. And Vegas will be a blast!
I think Fantastic Four, considering it's fair to middlingness made me wanna remember why it and so many other comics are so fantastic; so I've been reading some of my big coffee table books about comics. This some how lead me to read a couple of my coffee table books about Dr. Who, so now I miss that! Part of this may have also come from reading the only Robert J. Sawyer book I've read that I was actually somewhat disappointed by(Frameshift), I kinda knew I would be, which is why it took me so long to finally read it. It was still a great book, but for him, very subpar. Oh well, I'll just have to read the Neanderthal Parralax trilogy soon to make up for it I guess.
I love the Tick SPOON!! Thank you Toon Disney for showing it every night!
Well, I'm almost thru the D's, and while the C's were unsurprisingly sick(the Clash, COC, Leonard Cohen, at least two great soundtracks), the D's have pretty much kicked ass, what with Danzig, the Dead Kennedys, Darkest Hour(I'm so afraid the new album's gonna suck), Dillinger, my Def Jam compilation, the Descendents, the Dicks. The next few letters are gonna be great, with some amazing stuff, including many favorites(Fugees, Fantomas, Faith No More, Iommi, Iowaska, Helmet, Krs-1, L7, etc), but it's not really gonna kick until the M's.
Oh, and what's up with the whole spider web on the elbow tattoo thing I've been seeing of late? Is it the new barbed wire?
Well, I've run out of things to say, so until next time, I remain...

She says that shit like we leave the house.
The show, as the commercials would give away, is pretty much the same thing every week. Some crazy medical problem that no one but Dr. House can figure out. But, what the show is really about is House himself. The background is just a cinematic stick-figure to host the deep and colorful character of Dr. Gregory House. He's cynical, rude, cold...just a general bad guy really. Like, one time, he resuscitated a DNR patient. So, they put a restraining order on House so he couldn't touch the patient any more. Well, House hates doing clinic time (helping walk in patients) so he has the patient moved into the clinic. Since House isn't allowed with in 50 ft. of the guy, he can't do clinic work. He even has the nerve to come up the elevator and yell, from inside it, at people he needs to talk to that are in the clinic.
I could go on and on. To sum it up, its a show about a very funny and cynical guy, but who has a pretty sad past. Oh, and did I mention he's a drug addict and avid fan of soap operas? Haha.
Gaahl has done a lot of things, but this time he's in jail for "ritually attacking" some 41 year old guy and "dranking his blood". Where did you hear that about his bandmate? That's news to me.
You wanna know what's really funny. I actually think tattoos and piercings are a turn off.
Sorry about the super long post.
