Ah, the joys of working nights...
Sunday we had over a foot of snow fall, in APRIL! So it was beyond dead at work that night, only customers were cabbies and people who lived around the store. My coworker no called, no showed, because he couldn't/wouldn't dig out his car and his phone got disconnected due to the weather. He got a stern talking to this morning, which made me feel good because he was getting on my last nerve last night. Fortunately, the new guy, who's supposed to be taking over for me at night, was willing to stay and do a double, even tho I told him to go home because it was gonna be so slow and I could handle it. He doesn't have the best grasp of the language, he's only been here four months, and he's already stuck working at sev, poor bastard. And I had a drunk guy picking fights, with us, other customers, himself, the air, it was fun.
So, yay, the weather cleared up in less than twenty four hours(this state's got the strangest weather). I go to work, my coworker's made it, congratulations. About 11:10, this alcoholic moron comes in, we've dealt with him before, we look at eachother and kinda roll our eyes, waiting for him to start something. He does not disappoint. Sunday night, due to weather, we did not get our nightly delivery, no sandwhiches, donuts, etc. This includes onions for the condiment station. We've been out of forks for a couple weeks now, haven't been restocked yet for some reason. He wants onions and a fork for his cup of noodles. There's nothing we can do, tell him that multiple times. He starts yelling, saying shit about me, and generally causing a disturbance. I tell him to leave, multiple times. This entire time, I'm dealing with customers. Eventually I call the cops, I get a faster response if I call non emergency, I'm just gonna do that from now on unless I get robbed. The dispatcher hears the guy yelling at me, kinda funny. He does end up leaving just before any officers get to the store. OH well, made the night more interesting, that's for damn sure.
I am so glad I am off now, and I'm looking forward to the shortage training class tomorrow, and, as long as I get friday off(which I will)(NOMEANSNO!) I get four nights off in a row, it's like a friggin vacation over here!
Oh, and the new COC kicks ASS

Thanks for the luck, but so far, no one has read any thing I've written. MySpace tracks your blog hits, so I know no one has even looked at them. Hahaha. Oh well, I do it for myself.
What's 'the new COC'? I feel like I should know this. Corrosion of Conformity maybe? Normally, when I see COC, I think of Call of Cthulhu, but I'm sure that's not what you're talking about. Haha!
