Wow, Last night was a really bad night. one of our soldiers got wasted and well lets just say the final outcome was not good. I was up until 1am doing health and wellfare inspections and I'm tired as shit. I'm a little bothered by the fact that they want to slam this guy so hard. Yeah he fucked up and he will get punished but it seems that too many people are already lookin at him like he's a lost cause. Plus they are trying to pull down as many people they can along the way which is the last thing we need out here. Give the guy his punishment but be supportive and build him back up as a soldier. If that doesnt happen then he will just end up as another fuck up in the Military. Build him up and he may learn from it and become a better soldier for it. As it is now he thinks everybodys out to fuck him as hard as they can, so far the senior leadership is actually tryin to keep it minimal with the exception of the commander he wants to fry him, first sergeants sayin punish him but dont fry him. so who knows what the outcome will be. Either he'll pick up and drive on as a soldier or he'll end up being a continual fuck up, hopefully that doesnt happen. There is other things that play into this as well, its not just the alcohol that triggered it, and hopefully they remember that and realize it, this kid needs to go to combat stress in a bad way. I cant wait till this shits done with, this is by far the worst deployment I have ever been on...
