There is no story today

I don't understand how people work sometimes. They always say that actions speak louder than words, but some people can take words and destroy with them. Some people use words to prove a point but there is a such thing as going to far. How can words shatter a person to absolutely nothing?? How can words leave nothing but a hollow shell of a human being after they have been said?? I am nothing now thanks to hurtful words. I am left to feel as if I don't even deserve to be here. I have been walking around for the past day in such a foggy haze that I don't know what to feel. I have been destroyed at the expense of words.

Those words hurt me - left me standing out in the rain like a child. Now I am lost and I can't seem to find my way back to who I was. Those words took what little spirit I had and destroyed it in a matter of minutes. I'm tired of crying - christ, I spent half the night crying into my pillow so I wouldn't be heard.

I am simply a lost soul now
