Sorry for the lack of updating but I got my hopes up about 2008 being a great year and already it is looking to be a repeat of last year.......at least so far
I am getting really sick of the state of California (please take no offense if you are from here) but they have officially taken away just about every ounce of independence away from me
At first it was just the fact that I couldn't work but now it has turned into a huge SNAFU (Situation Normal All Fucked Up).
I don't understand how the state can take our money to register my car but not allow it to display California license plates because I don't have the proper border control paper work filled out. Would it have been easier to just not allow us to pay the registration fees until it was cool to do so??
I can't drive anymore anyways because my Canadian drivers license expired and since I don't have a social security number I can't get a California license...... not to mention that I can't go back to Canada to renew my license up there because I am not allowed to cross the border unless I want to forfeit my immigration application.
This stuff has left me a little down in the dumps lately which doesn't really help since I have been feeling very "off" too. I should be trying to get myself ready for the auditions for:
I got looking at some of the audition videos being posted on the internet for others auditioning and I don't stand a chance against these kids half my age I dunno - I am still going to audition only because this is the only chance I will have. After this - I will be officially too old to go through with it (damn rules)!
Oh well - I am sure things will turn around once everything is official (which should be by the end of Jauary from what the immigration people say) so I just have to keep my chin up until then

I'm thinking positive for you that everything will be done by the end of the month... then we will celebrate at Disneyland.
