Story of the day....................
Holy I suck at updating!!!!
It's not that I don't like you all
It is just the fact that I have been busy for the past week trying to sqeeze in Immigration Medical stuff, Military Housing stuff, family gatherings, decorating the house for Christmas.....and the list goes on
I survived my first ever Thanks Giving here in the good ol' USA
I had an awsome time meeting some of Petes Step Moms family
They were super cool and very warm to welcome me 
This weekend I also got my birthday present from my dear ol husband (as if he didn't spoil me enough as you can tell from my last journal) and I have been loving it!!!!
It replaced last years birthday present:
Which I loved just as much (since it was also personalized) but the poor little thing has been getting sick lately because of overuse
It was decided that we wouldn't be going home to Canada for Christmas this year just because of the cost After paying all of the fees for my immigration stuff and catching up on bills (not to mention the splurge he did for my 30th B day) it is just too much since:
1. We don't even know if Pete has the time off yet
2. We DID spend the holidays in Canada last year for the wedding
3. A grand is just a little too much to fly home when we don't even know how long we would be able to visit for if Pete gets the time off to go.
Fortunately I still get to spend the holidays with my family whom I love - it is just my NEWER family is all
With that being decided, we ended up (like the geniuses we are) decorating our house at 10pm on Sunday night Personally I think that for the size of our house we may have gone a little over board - but this isn't the end of the decorating oh no!!!! I am trying to figure out how to sync our Christmas lights to music So far this is how things are looking
I can't wait to see if I can get the music to work because we have a neighbour that keeps trying to out do us ever since Halloween
Other than that, Pete is gone for the week again It is just me and the wee little piggies I have to say though that I am sure our piggies are "special" (as in riding the short bus to school special") because of the following
This is how Mickey likes to sit and watch TV - Yes thats right.....our piggies are boob tube watchers (note the "yellow" belly - due to the fact that this little guy seems to get his water (which contains vitimin C suppliment) all down the front of him when he drinks.
He is also a lazy little bugger and does not move when he pees - he just lays there.......and yes he is a stinky little fellow
but we love him just the same He is permanently dyed this color because no matter how many times I bathe him (usually once a week) he always comes out the same color
I guess there is no denying that he is infact a little boy pig 
As for my girl Lucy, she is like her "mama" and picks her shows carefully:

Hey there, Life is good. Very very busy but good. Our kid is almost 4 months now and he seems to take up every ounce of time that I don't spend at work. I have pretty much put all my other activities on hold, including drumming....which was very hard. How are things going with you? enjoying the new digs I hope!
