so my shop want s me to learn how to tattoo. they been bugging me about it, ever since they saw me scibbling one day. i use to make fun and talk shit on tattoo artist that were like "oh i can pierce". just because seen it done doesnt mean you can do it right. i mean i wached E.R. but i dont think i could be a doctor right now. well, what do you guys think i should do?

honestly, if you pierce and tattoo and it's a slow day and only 2 piercings walk through the door... or none... you always have tattooing to fall back on.
If they're willing to train you or let you learn while working there, why the hell not!?
My boyfriend does both. He's been piercing for eleven years and he's been tattooing on and off now for the last three.
unless your hearts not in it. In which case don't waste any bodies time. It'd suck for them to spend time teaching you something you had no desire to learn and it'd also suck for someone to get a tattoo from a newbie who didn't give a shit...
