So right now everybody is talking about the issue of gay marriage. This is a wedge issue, and it's being used to distract our attention from all the really bad things going on. But, I'm going to comment anyways. I believe the state has no business deciding who can or cannot enter into a legally recognizable civil union called marriage by gender, race etc. The state should let anybody get married if they so choose. People deserve to know who will have power of attorney and everything else you get with marriage before and after they die. I believe there is a fundamental difference between being married in the eyes of the God you choose and having a marriage recognized by the state. This whole thing is bullshit.

damn, time to get to work.
