Sorry it's been awhile since my last post.
School has started. Taking intro to Shakespeare, Brit Lit 2, and American Lit 2. Trying to figure out whether or not to do debate this semester. I like do it... wait let me rephrase that LOVE doing it, but everyone that I used to hang out with at tournaments is gone. It's all the people that I'm just kinda meh about still on the team. Even my partner who was supposed to come back this semester is to busy. Oh well. We'll see what happens.
Things on the home front are going good. Worked things out with the girlfriend and we're back on track. But other than that things have been kinda slow around here. So slow in fact that all I've been doing is reading, playing Mass Effect, or WoW. I even finished the SciFi Dune series which is like 4 hours. Its the weather though too. Its raining out here and the wind is like ice. Like no really it's like putting your hand in a freezer. My hand starts to hurt while I'm smoking because it gets so cold.
Oh and I've decided this year I'm going to teach myself German. I picked up some CD's from the Library and I'm going to burn them to my Ipod so I can listen to them. Also it helps that my girl is fluent (or close to) in German so that should help as well. Picked up juggling again as well. I didn't realize how rusty I had gotten until I went to a Poi practice in Davis and kept dropping my glow balls. OOOH and they make these fire juggling balls that I'm totally in love with.
Also thinking about doing some SciFi photography. I want to go out to the sand dunes and do some Dune themes and then wait for the wind to cut and the rain to continue and do some Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (Blade Runner) stuff. A friend of mine has that trench coat and I've got the lit up umbrella so it might be fun.
Birthday coming up as well. Woot! I have no idea what I'm doing to celebrate. A friend of mine bought me a ticket to the SG winter ball for my B-Day so I'll be there and then maybe a party at a friends house and the lake for some quite. It's what I usually do. I party Friday night get plastered and go to the lake and recover Saturday and Sunday. It's nice to have a birthday that falls on a 3 day weekend.
Oh and I'm currently reading this book called VALAS bu Philip K. Dick. If you haven't read it you should. So far it's amazing.
