The dysfunctional family functions againe. Some kind of Father's Day super glue, I suppose. The whole klan got together over at my heezy before striking it out to The Olive Garden. There was some minor bickering and bad vibes initially. By the time we all arrived at Chez Suburbanista, (My pet name for the Olive Garden. The Olive Garden always seemed like the McDonalds of the foreign bistro industry. Maybe I'm wrong though. I don't eat out often but I generally go with my hunches) everything had cooled off. The meal was pleasant. Lots of halfway decent small talk. Good vibes all around. The old man even wants to do this kinda thing once a month. I'm too far gone to fucking care either way though. If he's paying, I'm eatin'. Fuck being alive. That's my piece for Father's Day. Sounds like any other day in the life of WFP.

Did some recording as well. Layered guitars and noise and homeless people waxing on and on about their political beliefs. It's like Godspeed! You Black Emperor minus the humanity and self importance and talent. The new side project is called Dead Condors. It's just me and my friend Ron. We are the masters of the "one take". This kinda thing is more appealing to me than Karoli. Requires even LESS musicianship than Karoli but MORE insanity. I really don't know how a non-musician can de-evolve as a musician but I seem to be doing it nicely. Lots of delayed guitar scrapings and me bellowing out for a merciful god. Occasionally, I throw out some kind of Moe Tucker tribal thump and put some ass end into the mix. Generally, I'm just a deranged preacher. On the prowl, belly full o' bourbon, and looking for faith. I call it Minister Doom Clown. Very fun. Very fab. Very unoriginal and tasteless. Sure, it's childish. I have to have some kind of outlet or I'll explode. I don't have the time or patience to think about the validity or quality of the music I make. There seems to be alot of "I"s in this last paragraph. Don't you hate that?
