How about filming a horror movie in the building which houses your practice space? Sounds pretty solid, but we need REAL GHOSTS! Friday night may be seance night. Christ, it was the first bank built in Toledo before it housed people who listen to too much Clutch and Pantera. Now it's the home of Karoli. Slowly but surely we are seeping into the century old pores of that ex-capitalist shit hole. There has got to be some ghost of a banker who offed himself during the Great Depression. Who better to tangle with than a bunch of noise rockers? We took an impromptu tour of the building Wed. night. Sneaking past the owners floor was the difficult part. Especially when you're overweight and breathing like a Kirby vacuum cleaner as you stumble up the stairs. The stone age elevator doesn't work of course. The whole time I was waiting for Pinhead or Tim Curry from LEGEND to jump out. Creepy ass upper levels just waiting to occupy a film crew. The bonus is this ancient stairwell on the opposite side of the building. If there was open access to this building, it would be a junkie's paradise. Holes in the narrow walls. Ancient steel stairs. Scattered insulation and plaster in various locations. It's completely perfect. The seance is going to be great. One of my best friends from childhood on now plays in our group. He also is pretty well versed in the occult, spiritualism, astrology, and all of that Aleister Crowley/Necronomicon/Magick business. If there is any unholy ex-bankers trapped in this dimention I'm pretty sure the dude will get 'em front and center. Maybe we could get some stock tips. I'll bring my IRAs to see if they are up to speed. Cause you know them dudes on the other side know what's going to happen in the future. But I'm not going to sacrifice any mountain goats or local virgins for the spirits. I draw the line at kittens and people who like bands on Victory Records. I'm not a complete monster.

i'm glad you're okay with bland hunky and ende neu in the same journal entry. it makes me think you're probably the greatest person who ever lived.
I think the real horror movie is going on in our heads, good to let it out.
