I'm alive.....and bloated. Pain meds make me eat a lot, and all I have in the house is the junk food I bought at CVS on the way home from the hospital. And the pizza I got last night - meat lover's, extra cheese, extra sauce and jalepenos - yuuuuuuuuuum
Got broadsided Sat afternoon -vehicle flipped over - walked away bloddy and bruised but that's it. Well actually they strapped me down and took me away - wouldn't let me walk, guess it looked pretty bad.The best part is that I had just picked up the truck (last thing Enterprise had left - giant brand new Ford Silverado - I am sure its totaled now) like 2 hours before the wreck happened. Because my car is still the shop from an accident I was in back in July - Oy. Maybe I should stop driving.
I feel like hell....cannot imagine what my insurance company is going to do to me. Can you say rate hike? or perhaps cancellation. Ugh. Well, I did get the chance to put my survival skills to the test. After I came to rest upside down, I realized it was time to scramble - I got out of my seatbelt and crawled thru the broken window before the other guy even got out of his car -Yea! Good to know I won't freeze up in moments needing escape. I like to feel prepared. Actually I have been in several crashes of cars, jet skis, and atv's w/o serious injury or panic - maybe instead of not driving I should become a stunt driver. The ER doc did say that I have bones of steel!
