what the hell is wrong with people?
first I would like to just paste an except from my live journal last year before I go into the weirdness of today:
[Jun. 3rd, 2007|10:02 am]
Then I took over the sitting Delia did and uploaded the pictures for her. the little baby girl looked like an Elf. She made the funniest faces I have ever seen. The families last name was Christmas. I was laughing soooo hard looking at the pictures. Sal came out back and i showed him and he looked very straight faced at the pictures and said "Hermey doesnt like to make toys" and I started laughing again. Mark told us we were going to have a little cloud rain on us and go to hell.
And this is where my day gets the weirdest. The last sitting I had, was this cute little Indian girl. She was in a pink dress, and had on pink jelly sandles and a pink flowered headband. I finished the sitting and then mom looks at me and goes, "by the way, thats a little boy" I was just like 'ooooooh. He makes a very cute ittle girl" and she was like "yea. I wanted to have a girl, so we wanted to get pictures of him like this before he gets old enough to realize whats going on"
I go out back and I tell Mark. I was so sketched out. Mark and I debated on if we should report this somewhere, but I mean, the little boy wasnt being physically abused. and all the other times they've come in, he was dressed as a boy. So Mark let Sal take over the sale. Thank god. I was soooo freaked out. but thats still child abuse is some form right?
ok so today I was uploading pictures to the online store, and i came across this sitting.
Another indian family. pictures of a little boy and a little girl seperately. ok. not weird. then pictures of two little girls together. still, not weird.
Whats where is that one of the kids in the dress in the group pictures, was actually the little boy.
What the fuck is wrong with people?
This kid was way too young to have made that choice on his own. he was less than 18 months. he was barely walking on his own.
I wouldn't be so upset if he was old enough to decided, 'hey. i want to wear a dress' but this child was definately not.
Now company policy is that we can't do anything unless we see them physically abuse their child.
What do we do in a situation like this?
legally, what CAN we do?

On an unrelated note, how are you? I'm giving the site another whack for the next little bit and wanted to say hi.
