Man I'm not the sharpest tack in the box but every once in a while I have a moment that stands out.
I hope the image of your relationship clears up soon, hopefully for the better. In the meantime, I will ALWAYS encourage someone who's thinking of writing. Besides, if nothing else, it tends to be theraputic.
