Just a quick update -
I'm getting back on track pretty quickly & feeling a lot better. Still a bit bummed about losing 7 years sobriety, but that's just the ego reminding me it's there. I've been keeping busy, going to meetings & trying to pack in as much fun between responsibilities as I can. Mostly meaning I've been riding the bikes a bunch. I got to visit with an old friend today, actually my best friend although it's been a while, and his gal who I hadn't yet met. They're such hippies & it's so endearing I just want to squeeze them both. They live in a school bus - a school bus they built unbelievably nice. An incredible hard wood floor, beautiful lighting, nice appliances, the works. It's way nicer than my home interior and a fuck of a lot better than any cookie cutter motor home. neat-o!

Although I've been fortunate enough to keep my drinking under control, I had to quit everything else many years ago.
I know a lot of sober folks and know how important it is and what a struggle.
I'm glad you're getting back to where you're feeling better quickly.
7 is just a number, it's how you feel that's important.
