might be the best album ever recorded, but I rarely listen to it because I usually feel too good about things. Funny how life is - I'd never heard the record until about a month after I found a girlfriend with another guy. I picked it up at a yard sale. I don't drink whiskey or try to decide about killing anyone or myself* anymore, so the album is a little different now. Still very good and it can still produce tears, but not because of self pity or hate or frustration or anything like that. Just because heartbreak is so common & I know someone else must be in that exact same situation right at this minute. I wonder if they'll get to the other side & I hope they have good people around them that will let them mourn but not go way off the deep end. Anyhow, that's my jolly take on the holidays kids...
* there was plenty more going on than a girl leaving, like a heroin habit & a broken foot among other things.

Nothin' like Outlaw Country.

You need to practice your guitar, too! Try playing along with that album, for instance...
