I'm getting ready to head to Glamis for the first time this season. El Burrito still has no roll cage, I promised myself I'd have one in before this year, fuck. Rice Dessert (the baja bug) still needs some details worked out, mostly just wiring. This is a spur of the moment trip, if I'd known a week a ago I would (read: might) have had it squared away. It probably won't have the cajones for climbing the steep stuff, but it's what I hope to use the most this year. El burrito makes less power but better gearing for climbing. My cousin has all sorts of little camp toys like a 70cc 3 wheeler and an old briggs & stratton type minibike, I've been keeping my eyes open for something cheap & picked up a 1981 yz80 a while back for $250 because it wouldn't start. New gas and a plug and it fired right up. looks like this one, but the tank and number plate decals are gone:

It's a lot smaller than it looks from the picture but I couldn't find a picture of one with a full grown adult on it. It'll be the Norvin chaser.
Fuckin hell, getting everything set up for the first trip of the year is a bitch. I'm stoked on my final camping/towing rig though. An old double cab F350 4x4 with a camper and a 28' trailer. I still need to sell a motorhome that I had previously been using, but with this I can get out in the sand away from folks and let Norvin have some room. I used it a couple times late in the season last year, so much better than camping next to people on speed playing techno all night. I can't wait for the fun to start!!!!
