off to CO again. I just got off the phone with my folks who are babysitting my niece Pheobe. (She's closing in on 2ys old). she strings a couple words at a time together but no real sentences yet. Apparently whenever she arrives at my folks' cabin she asks for Norvin first, then Erik, then the kitties, then Poppy or Nani whichever of the two are not accompanying her. So as I was talking to my dad my mom was trying to tell her that Erik was on the phone. Once she understood she started saying NORVIN! NORVIN! she loves him & he's as gentle as can be (but can still knock her over pretty easy.) I want kids, always did. I'll live though. In fact I think I can settle for another niece or nephew. Which is good for me since I was just informed by my Sister that in approximately seven months she shall dispatch forth another.
I'm fuck ass behind on paying bills and sending out invoices. I'm making a pot of coffee and buckling down for an all-nighter so I'm not guilt ridden for the week and a half. I catch a plane kinda early. in fact I'd better find out how early, huh?
Also, I just filled up the mustang for the first time that I wrote down the mileage. Or the third time but the first that I didn't lose the scrap of paper or forget about it at fill up time. Care to offer any guesses for those familiar with the car? I was a touch disappointed, but I'm still hopeful as there were almost no freeway miles on this tank, (remember overdrive with 4th gear lockup converter) all errand running and I really can't keep control of my foot a lot of the time. The secondaries are open often. Ok I'll tell you. 15.4 mpg. I was really hoping for 18ish around town and 22ish freeway, maybe 25 at 65mph. I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve for efficiency such as spark plug indexing and setting the rear end's pinion angle. I haven't touched the carb aside from going up from stock one step (two numbers) in the main jets (both primary and secondary). I shouldn't be far off on the ignition curve. Passed smog with flying colors once I figured out I had a couple valves not shutting, so nothing is FAR off tune wise. I should spend a couple bucks on dyno tuning. Maybe go a touch lean on the primary mains and make up the difference with the secondaries. I dunno, I'm not giving up hitting my targets, but really it's all going to depend on my right foot anyhow.

My one hope is that due to it's age, simplicity and bizarre color it should be easy to spot if they ride or sell it.
