Off work today because I fucked up. I should fuck up more often.
I got the baja's pushrod tubes replaced and drove it around the block a couple times. Gear ratios are great, runs excellent with a lot of torque but acts like there's a rev limiter (didn't pay attention to what rpm it stopped revving yet, I was focused on other details) I suspect valve float. Double spring set-ups are a lot more common for air cooled vw's than stiffer single springs for dealing with "bigger" than stock cam. Suspension on speed bumps and rain gutters is utterly dreamy. can't wait to take my speed disorder offroad where it belongs. Lots of work yet, but maybe a quick spin this weekend.
