I'm generally not much for dancing and that's an understatement. But you should have seen me today when a bee crawled up my shorts and gave me a sting on the leg. Not much else to report, work work work. things are good. Eye is still better each day, should be no issue for another ten years if the pattern holds. Works for me.

I'm actually going to use a single 15" speaker for this custom amp, and I'd never use a tweeter. All the guitar's sound is in the midrange, so a 15" will smooth out the transients and give the amp some depth and smoothness, as well as a nice big round bottom...
Wattage is logarithmic. My little Kalamazoo amp is quite loud even though it's only about 10 watts. 20 watts is not twice as loud as 10 watts, 100 watts is twice as loud as 10 watts.
So what's the difference between a 50 watt amp and a 100 watt amp? The 100 watter will only be a little louder, but a lot cleaner sounding.
With the tricks I'm using for this amp to bring the wattage down, it'll still have quite a bit of volume but the the distortion characteristics will be sweet and organic sounding. It'll have one knob. If you want it to distort, just turn it up.
