first the personal news, then the car.
I briefly mentioned an eye thing a while back, basically the muscles that control where one eye points aren't working up to par, and looking up or off to either side I see double. Nothing more than a nuisance except when riding a motorcycle. See better on the zrx since I sit upright so that's what I've been riding lately, really should lock them all up, but I'm missing my common sense modulator as you should know by now. I got some health insurance finally. Wish I had done it a couple years ago when I didn't actually need it right away (damn missing modulator) I'm a bit worried about not being covered for what's going on, I can't see how it wouldn't be classified as pre-existing. I'll just be honest & whatever happens happens. I have an appointment with the doctor who did my last surgey about 12 years ago. I've had two so far & both turned out great, they cut & move the muscles to make them tighter or looser, pretty straight-ahead stuff. No biggie, I'll keep you posted. Until then I have the advantage because you can't tell whether I'm looking at you or the person next to you, mwahahahaha.
The car: camera's busted, sorry. Motor & transmission are in. Some fighting with fitment on the trans and headers, sawz-alls should be called solves-alls.
Some fighting with the pulley set up too, I wanted to use the early v-belt stuff rather than the newer motor's serpentine belt/pulleys. tried a few different things & decided I just had to buy a late balancer made for early pulleys, done. Today I get to remove the headers (which were a bitch to get in) because I have to pull the trans pan to install the special trans swap linkage. If I would have read the directions with the linkage I would have realized this & done that part when the trans was on the workbench. fuck-ass.
Hope everyone in a cold climate is dealing alright, it's not long now.
Edit: just got this picture of my niece Pheobe and Otto The Little Bastard. Friday I'll be taking a trip to CO for a couple days of visiting & a couple more of snowboarding. Double vision will make tree runs twice the fun!

phoebe's cuteness is out of control. she needs to reign that shit in.
i love how you talk about your eye thing in such a mechanical way. they "just" cut and move the muscles. a brillant ploy to get twice your money's worth at strip clubs?? nope, that didn't work. anyway, here is some sincere healing vibe-age; accept or decline at your own discretion. i'm sending quite a lot, fyi.
